WE RUN THE BATH; CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF THE BATH BOMB WITH LUSH

When we think of bubble baths and bath bombs, a certain brand comes to mind ~ Lush.

As Lush celebrates 30 years of the Bath Bomb ~ and with a catchy hashtag no less, #wethebathers ~ let's retrace the rise of this iconic bathroom staple. In 1989 Mo Constantine (below), Lush Co-Founder and Product Inventor, wanted something that would turn an ordinary bath into a luxurious event without irritating delicate skin. She went on to create a product that brought essential oils and fresh ingredients to the bath in a whole new way, simply by working from her garden shed. Little did we know that that creation would be the one and only Bath Bomb.

Throughout the years both Mo and her son Jack have experimented, invented and pushed the bathing boundaries like never before; from crowd favourite the Butterball (a creamy bath bomb full of skin-softening cocoa butter), to the Experimenter (an explosion of colour and creativity), bath time has evolved into a form of artistic expression whilst still delivering that end of day wind down.

To celebrate their 30th Bath Bomb anniversary, Lush are getting ready to release even more creativity into your bathtub. Worldwide Lush stores are now curating their own bath bomb collections for the first time, choosing from over 50 exclusive products to sell in their own shops. Depending on their scale, every store will have a different selection.

Whether you’re an intrepid bath time adventurer or someone seeking a serene soak, Lush has a bath bomb for everyone.
