VIRTUAL RENOVATION: RENO + DESIGN SHOW
What better way to attend the Reno + Design Show than from the comfort of your couch? Keep your PJs and ugg boots on while learning more about how to revamp your interior space! With all this time spent indoors, renovations have increased tenfold - but with restrictions only just starting to ease (and the threat of them being put back in place!) it can be tricky to find points of inspiration. Luckily for us, Brisbane interior designer and Reno + Design Show creative direction Renee Watson is bringing the popular event online! With over 100 exhibitors, the virtual show is designed with the interior addicts and DIY-ers in mind.
Running from July 26, the free event is an online showcase offering design inspiration and renovation tips from some of Australia’s leading industry players.
“You can’t come to us, so we’ll come to you,” says Watson.
The jam-packed schedule includes styling sessions, regular Instagram Lives, podcasts, masterclasses, Instagram takeovers and produced videos with some of Australia’s most inspirational designers, architects, stylists, builders, trades, product suppliers and special guests.
“It’s been quite a year but we still have plenty to offer our renovation community,” Watson said. “We recognise the need for a supportive community and a means to reach avid renovators. That is why we are so excited to announce our newest adventure, the Reno + Design Show – Virtual Edition, in July 2020,” continues Watson.
The fun kicks off with an Instagram Story from AM Interior Studio and IGTV interview with Comoda Renovations, with other special guests including Billy Dawson Architects, Weaver Green, Scandiluxe, Real Life Reno, Bauwerk, The Interiors Addict’s Jen Bishop, Undercover Architect’s Amelia Lee, Property Before Prada’s Katherine Persoglia, mavenHOME’s Lee Talbot, real-life renovators Brooke Simmonds, Cindy Mead and Alycia Chapman, BeKKA Design, Charlie Albone and loads more.
“Whether it’s a livestream from the workplace, a colour theory workshop on Zoom, an interview with one of the Show’s MCs or knock-off drinks streamed directly to Instagram, we want to celebrate and showcase the Reno + Design Show family,” says Watson.
Although this year's show will take place virtually, a new date for the Brisbane Showgrounds event has been set for March 13-14, 2021 - so pop it in your calendar and get excited!

Being able to stream the knowledge and expertise of some of our most impressive local reno and design businesses directly into people’s lounge rooms is an amazing opportunity.
