TONAL TRENDS, WITH MINTY MAGAZINE
With a new season upon us, what better time to update your kids room with the latest tonal trends. Working with a tonal palette is a beautiful way to create a calm and cohesive space. Here are our favourite looks and tips to achieve them.
ONE: GREEN LEAVES
Working with an earthy green palette is a perfect opportunity to introduce some living greenery into your space. Popular house plants include the ever popular fiddle leaf fig, the delicate sweet heart plant and the big impact monsteria.
TOP TIP: No green thumbs in sight? Fake it ‘til you make it with good quality faux plants.
TWO: BLUE ON BLUE
Wall colour will always create a big impact. To really hit the tonal trend use complimentary tones of the same colour to highlight features in the room.
TOP TIP: No need to reinvent the wheel - pop into your local paint store and grab a swatch card with the complimentary tones included.
THREE: TIME FOR TEXTURE
Texture is everything to tie your room together. Introduce different fabrics and finishes in the same tones to create a warm and enticing room for your kids.
TOP TIP: Add an accent. A few items in a bolder tone will create some interest to your room.
