The first Retreat by Bali Interiors - combining design, architecture, food and luxury accommodation
Sheila Man is the founder and creative director of Bali Interiors. She founded Bali Interiors 6 years ago when she made the move from Sydney to Bali. A photographer and stylist of interior and architecture, whose work has been published in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle Decor, Conde Nast Traveller and many more. Sheila Man started a movement of showing Bali in a new light, highlighting the incredible talent and world class interior design that the island has to offer.
Now Sheila is opening her black book of the design and architecture industry. This much anticipated design retreat is a week-long immersion into the beautiful interiors, homewares and architecture that is found in Bali. With everyone on Instagram seemingly enjoying a European Summer or tropical getaways currently, this news could not arrive at a more appealing time to us than right about now.
As a long term resident of Bali, Sheila has developed friendships and connections with designers, architects, developers, factories, furniture manufacturers, artists, villa and hotel owners and restaurateurs. On this retreat, Sheila will be sharing a curated collection of experiences that are must-do for any design and architecture fan.
“We have curated the dream week that will leave you feeling inspired and armed with fantastic connections, new contacts and a whole new view on Bali and what it has to offer in terms of design, manufacturing and travel” Man explains.
“Bali Interiors was originally going to be just a private database for my clients,” she says. “I had access to such incredible artisans and designers by the very nature of my job, so the whole philosophy of the brand came about as a place to share information and ideas.”
Beyond the crowds and mega hotels that the island is known for, The Bali Interiors Retreat is jam-packed with visits to private homes, factories and manufacturers. You will stay in luxury accommodation, dine in the best restaurants and experience a side of this island paradise that can't be found in a brochure. Guest speakers, a private boat trip to a nearby island, secret pop up dining experiences all combine to make it an unforgettable week.
Sure to be the “it” working holiday for for creatives who are in the know, places at this amazing retreat are limited. Email hello@bali-interiors.com for further details or click here to learn more.
