TABLEWARE WE LOVE

Here at TLSE, we come into contact with many beautiful homeware brands - so it was no easy task to hone down on our favourites for this tableware shoot.

An artfully displayed collection of tableware can be the most spectacular centrepiece in any home – the key is not so much what you collect, but how you choose to display it. In The Roundhouse is the perfect mix of playful and stylish - a collection of tableware you will want to keep on display permanently. The plates and side plates are adorned with sweet, catchy foreign phrases such as 'C'est Bon', 'Grazie Mille', and 'Bon Appétit' or cute graphic illustrations in bold, bright colours featuring sardines, prawns, octopus and crabs.

The team behind the designs at Papaya know the true meaning behind the design concept, less is more. Their range of delicate, mostly white ceramics are a welcome and subtle addition to any table setting. Thin organic, smooth shapes which celebrate the handmade.

ROBERT GORDON, SAARDÉ

Family-owned ceramics brand Robert Gordon has been delivering beautifully made and designed ceramics for decades. Their latest collection is no exception. Organic and tactile shapes with feature handles and delicate feature patterns can be found on their new pieces which include jugs, platters and mugs. The perfect pieces to keep on display every day.

Glassware in delicate rippled forms and wonderful colour is Fazeek's design forte. Everything in the contemporary Melbourne-based design brand is thoughtfully designed and hand-crafted to be admired, cherished, yet also embraces practicality. Fazeek's Wave glasses and the Vice Versa carafe are pieces that we just can't get enough of.

Created by Alexandra Heard and Heleena Trahanas, Alex and Trahanas is a lifestyle brand and design studio which is a result of the duos love for the staggering beauty of summer on the Mediterranean. Sun-filled terraces, seaside trattorias and tavernas; entertaining in linen with delicious food, wine, surrounded by friends and family is what inspires the brand the most.

All of Estudio Tres' products are handmade in Spain by local artisans, which explains why they're so utterly beautiful! Founded by sisters Luisa Arnoso and Paula Arnoso , and their good friend Laura Asenjo, the selection of ceramics embraces the richness, beauty and the charm of Spanish culture through traditional elements which have been carefully curated by the trio.
