SYDNEY OPEN STUDIO: HEADSHOT DAY AT THE LIFE STYLE EDIT

Everyone loves to hate them, but there comes a time when we need to bite the bullet and surrender to getting some professional headshots done, so let’s make this easy!

Mark October 1st in your diary.

Join us at the TLSE Headshots Open Day for your 30 minute headshot session in our St Peter’s studio with our photographer and style team. You’ll get four new headshots to use however you like to boost your business profile. We’re taking bookings now but HURRY! Space is limited.

WHY YOU NEED A GOOD HEADSHOT:

In this digital age, the difference between a good headshot and the lack of one can make or break how you are seen in business. No matter what your role is, people are more keen than ever to see the face behind whatever it is you do.

At The Life Style Edit we live and breathe content and so know the difference a great headshot can make in establishing a brand and building an audience. We’re not just talking about thousands of followers on Instagram (though we can help you achieve that too!) but it’s more about presenting yourself in the best light to those you want to work and connect with.

And forget about boring mug shots on stitched up annual reports. A great headshot is for everyone who has a public-facing or professional role. “Everyone needs a good headshot,” says TLSE Art Director Emma Chegwyn. “People love to connect with the face of a business, especially if you’re a freelancer.”

That said, even non-freelancers should take getting a headshot into their own hands, rather than leave it to their company to call the shots. They don’t have to be stiff and boring either - loosen up and be yourself so that your profile across all platforms including social media and LinkedIn can be brought to life - on your own terms.

“You yourself are a brand. You can’t just hide behind your product and your words any more.” Emma Chegwyn, TLSE Art Director.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD HEADSHOT:

We’re here to help by putting you at ease from the get go. We’ve got the studio setup, backgrounds and lighting all worked out to produce killer headshots in the best possible way. Our Open Studio Day is all about us creating a relaxing environment so that you can simply be yourself. We’ll do all the work behind the scenes to make sure you go away with a handful of headshots that speak of you.

WE'RE HERE TO MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU:

Not photogenic? Don’t like having your photo taken?? We hear you..! “I think one of the things we notice when we’re taking photos is that we see the whole person,” says TLSE Founder Heidi Albertiri, “We don’t see you as you see yourself, so when we photograph people it’s about connecting with them and it’s about capturing that moment - and that’s when we get the shot.”

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Wondering why TLSE has the edge? “When we do it, it’s about me being there and, with the photographer we giggle, make them laugh and get them comfy in themselves, so they don’t even know the photographer is there most of the time,” says Heidi, TLSE Founder. “It’s those little moments when they’re connecting with me, talking about something… that’s when you get the money shot!”

To prove it, we’ll be practicing what we preach - Team TLSE will be first cabs off the rank for headshots on 1st October so get your engines running and join us!
