SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FRIENDS THIS 'PAL-ENTINES' DAY

Here at TLSE, we value friendship and love any excuse to celebrate it, so 'Pal-entine's' Day is one of our favourite times of the year! Why should Valentine's Day be strictly romantic? Show your friends how special they are and spend February 14th celebrating those that mean the most to you.

Here are our favourite 5 things to try with your friends this Valentine's Day:

Pot-Luck Dinner

Finding time to spend with your closest friends can get tricky, and trying to coordinate your schedules can be even trickier – so a potluck dinner in honour of ‘Pal-entines’ day is the perfect excuse to get together!

There’s nothing better than a home-cooked meal after a long week, especially when you don’t have to do it all yourself. Share the love this Valentine's Day by bringing a different dish each and spend the evening celebrating your friendships with your nearest and dearest.

Bar Crawl

What better way to unwind from the week than with some well-earned bubbles with your bestie at some of Sydney’s trendiest spots? Start the weekend right by hitting the town – it is Friday after all!

Some cool bars to check out are The Cat’s Meow, a brand new 1920s inspired bar situated in the heart of Darlinghurst on Oxford Street, and The Baxter Inn, a whisky-themed speakeasy tucked away off Clarence Street.

Cooking Class

If you’re looking to up your culinary game, a cooking class is the perfect Valentine’s Day activity for you. Take a step up from going out for dinner by getting some friends together and learning the skills yourself!

Whether you’re craving Thai, seafood or even Italian, the cuisine choices are limitless. Spend this Valentine’s Day refining your cooking expertise while getting something delicious out of it - it doesn't get much better than that!

Cork and Canvas

Is there a better combination is there than paint, your best pal and your favourite wine? We don't think so. Even if you’re not the artistic type, putting your creativity to the test and having a laugh at your Cork and Canvas masterpieces is a great way to spend time together.

Weekend Getaway

Given it’s a Friday, use this Valentine’s Day as an excuse for a quiet weekend away with your faves. Escape the city and take a well-deserved breather from your usual routine by venturing up or down the coast with some close friends.

Even better – really spread the love by taking an empty Esky and buying all your food and drinks there to support local businesses!
