Q&A with our PR & Social Media Coordinator, Mikaela Buettner

What is your role and what do you do on average day?

My role is PR and Social Media Coordinator at TLSE! Everyday entails new and exciting opportunities to collaborate with a wide range of amazing brands, businesses and people. You can find me prepping socials for clients, being the copywriting/editing go-to for the girls in the office, whipping up blogs and press releases, keeping up with the latest in media and events, aligning with brands, creating content, brainstorming new ideas or cruising through emails.

How long have you been working for TLSE? Why do you love it?

I only started here at TLSE in July this year! I’m a newbie but love seeing the ocean everyday from our gorgeous sunny office. And of course the team, a bunch of relaxed, talented and hardworking chicks!

PR or social media, what is your favourite part of your job?

I love the right balance of both. The creativity of socials and the connectivity and buzz of PR!

Other than TLSE, which are your top 3 favourite Instagram accounts, and what do you love about them?

I love @Elsa Hosk, she is my style icon always! @mediterano_ gives me the ultimate dose of Euro summer vibes and inspo. And of course @Gelato Messina because I am the ultimate ice-cream lover and sweet tooth!

Bubbly, wholesome, fun-loving, practical, relaxed

What was your favourite holiday ever?

My recent trip to Europe, after a crazy time in my life this was the ultimate healing! It was also my first solo trip, which was a scary leap but so worth it.

If you had to give up either the office snack box or wine, which would it be?

I’d have to reluctantly sacrifice the wine, I am the snack queen! Maybe Espresso Martinis instead?
