HOW WE STYLED THE BEDROOMS AT CASITA

We are all itching to travel again and there's no better time to explore our own stomping ground. Enter Stay Casita - Jervis Bay.

As you may know, we recently finished the renovation and as we were putting the finishing touches at Stay Casita we had to really give some thought to what makes the perfect bedroom for a good night's sleep. There is nothing worse than checking into a beautiful Air BnB property only to hit the sack and the bedding is not up to scratch.

Casita consists of 3 bedrooms, when setting up for a holiday home you need to take into consideration all options and scenarios. The possibilities are endless. Here is what we came up with.

We knew that it wasn't going to be a particularly kid-friendly place so that eliminated that from the beginning and so we opted for 2 queen beds and 2 single beds. It really allows couples and friends to find what works and the singles can be pushed together to make a king if needed.

A good night's sleep is so important, we know it can make or break the day ahead so we started from the ground. up and added the next layer bit by bit.

Eva bed base and Mattress

Microcloud

You won't believe it until you try it. You literally are sleeping on a cloud and the mattress topper combined with the pillows and the doona is really is a match made in heaven. You know when you go to a hotel and the bed is just next level? chances are the beds are made with microcloud bedding.

Microcloud bedding is not only delightfully comfortable but also hypoallergenic, odourless, commercially washable, long-lasting, and free from feathers which was really important for us when choosing these items. One night on this baby and you will be ordering it for your own place. ( several guests already have)

Adairs bedding

With the bedding, we wanted the super beautiful feel of linens and we wanted to tones to be able to be mixed and matched so when cleaners are coming in they don't have to worry about what matches what. Literally, all our bed linen goes with each other so there are endless possibilities for combinations. ( important for a stylist)

We wanted the linens to be sophisticated and timeless and luxurious with a relaxed, lived-in look. The lightweight textures give a lovely sense of freshness and comfort and that was the icing on the cake for us.
